Located in Malartic, the Abitibi-Témiscamingue Mineralogical Museum presents an exhibit on regional geology and mining projects as well as on minerals from around the world.
The Mineralogical Museum also offers the possibility of visiting the on site facilities at the Canadian Malartic mine, the largest open-pit gold mine currently in operation in Canada.

From June to September, Tuesday through Sunday, the Mineralogical Museum offers an opportunity to visit the facilities of the Canadian Malartic Mine, the largest open-pit gold mine currently in operation.
A unique opportunity in Quebec to visit an operating gold mine and to witness the lives of its workforce. This visit will allow you to learn more about the technological developments in the mining industry and you will be amazed by the size of the equipment used at the Canadian Malartic Mine.
Admission to the Mineralogy Museum is included in the cost of the ticket.
